Tentitive IVF Scheduale

I got our IVF class schedualed for November 13th. I have started on a list of questions to ask our nurse Debbie who happens to be everyone's nurse who is going thru IVF. The 13th will be a busy day for us including our IVF class, I have to have a trial transfer to make sure my uterus is good for our egg transfer and my babe has to have an IVF seman analysis. I am so excited to get this show on the road.

  Here is the tentitive:
      Oct 27: start BC pills
November 14: start Lupron
November 28: start stims
December 11: egg retrival
December 16: Egg Transfer
December 28: Test for pregnancy

As everyone prays for what everyone on the east coast is going thru please continue to pray for our military whether at home or abroad. I come from a huge military family and we have our oldest nephew on my babe's side about to go off for his first duty assignment. He is only 19 years old. We are proud of you all and love you!

IVF Consult

My babe and I had an ultrasound yesterday to see what was going on. I had mild OHSS but Dr Dean said that it will go away. I am thankful for that. While we were their we also talked about IVF. It increases our chances which we are excited about. My babe and I will meet with the IVF nurse in the next week or so to get the party started. The plan as of right now is to start BC pills any day to supress my system. I will get my medication list when we meet with Debbie and then in a few weeks I will start having ultrasound's every 3-4 days and then we possibly have an egg retrival week of the last week of December to the first week of January. We are super excited, yet nervous about moving forward. We are also doing a shared risk program that will give us 4 tries at having a take home baby.

Life this past week.

Life has been crazy busy. For the past few weeks I have been struggling emotionally. After 2 cancelled IUI's we have a meeting with Dr. Dean as I call him tommarrow. I am also battling OHSS but very mild form. Monday was an emotionally hard day for me with some of the toughest decisions in my life. I had a monitoring appt and I was so thankful to see Dr. Dean. I had 9 follies and I had to choose wether to cancel the cycle or wether to extract 6 eggs and only keep 3. I chose to cancel the cycle as I didn't want to risk losing the 3 other follies. I also don't like the thought of having an abortion. It was a decision hard to make. I also asked Dr. Dean if I were his daughter what would he recommend and he said to just cancel the cycle as the risk for having a miscarriage would have been extremely high with such a thin lining. Hope everyone has a great and blessed night!
