baseline appt day~6

I am going to update after every appt to keep you all in the loop at what is happening at my appts. Today my babe and I headed back to LR for my baseline appt. Everything is clear and I have no cysts's :) I am just waiting for a call back from the clinic on my estrogen level.  My E2  {estrogen} level came back at less than 25. The clinic wanted to see my E2 level less than 100. Woohoo that means I can start shot #2 on Saturday My next appt won't be til next Tuesday and that will just be blood work.

IVF~day 5

Tonight at 6pm will be 5 days since I started my Lupron injections. I am feel pretty good except for a bit bloated and tired. Tommarrow my babe and I head to LR for my baseline appt. I will have an ultrasound done and blood work done. On Wednesday my babe will be having his first ever surgery. He is having his meniscus repaired. It has been torn about a year or so. I am hoping that the next few days will be uneventful. We have our few Christmas decorations put up. On Saturday I am participating in a few amazing events. First off I was asked to help decorate the church for the Christmas season, I will do that for a few hours and then go eat with my amzing best friend Donna. Saturday afternoon depending on how my hubby is feeling I am helping with a great benefit sale for a sweet young boy that has cancer. Two years ago exactly on this day our lives changed forever. My fiance' at the time now my babe and I were on the way back from spending the evening with his brother and we were in a horrible accident their was a blind curve and then it went in to a ditch. We missed the blind curve and landed in the ditch. I blacked out for a few moment's and freaked out on my babe. I braced my self upon impact. I broke my humerous bone and it was no ordinar break it was a spiral fracture. The nurses called in the ortho surgeron and had talked to me about prepping me for surgery. Once ortho arrived he said that I didn't need surgery. They sent me home at 1am from being the ER all night. The next morning I was suppose to work and called my boss that morning and was threatened my job. I said "go ahead and fire me." She ended up not firing me. My shoulder healed but unfortunately I tore my beicep tendon off the bone and had a tore rotator cuff plus lots of bone spurs. For a year after the injury I would get steriod shots every 2 weeks. 1 year ago on November 16th, 2011 I had major shoulder surgery were they re-attached my beicep, fixed my rotator cuff and removed bone on bone plus bone spurs. It was a difficult Christmas last year. But I am thankful this black friday to have an amazing DH who has been my rock. 1 year ago I left my job that threatened to fire me and have been happy since. After I went back to work from being on medical leave they thru a big fit and I said fine if you guys aren't gonna give me the time off for major surgery their is my 2 week notice. I have only been in that place once and it was to see a good friend. Today I am so thankful for my ortho surgeron, and he apologized to me last year about not doing the surgery right away. This coming week will be my babe's first time undergoing surgery and so I am thankful for our ortho who did my shoulder. Hope everyone is having a great night!

Meds came today

Today has been a great day and my meds are here and already organized and put away. Now comes the fun part of starting them on Thursday which as we know it as Thanksgiving day. We have so much to be Thankful for this year and we are so excited to get this party started. Here is a copy of my IVF schedule

Here is the box of meds to get this party started. In it has Lupron, Follistim Cartridges, Estrogen patches, sharps container, and a few other meds plus extra supplies.

When my office manager texted me that it had arrived I jumped up and down for joy. I had it sent to my work office since I had errands to run this morning. I also made a yummy carmel pumpkin pie and yummy pumpkin bread.

IVF Schedule

Today my babe and I had our IVF class/consult signing and had to have a trial transfer and seman analysis done. We had a great time getting to know our IVF nurse and the best news of all we got our schedule. If all goes well it looks like our Egg Retrival will be around December 10th.

November 22nd: start lupron

November 25: last day of BC pills

November 27th: blood work and ultrasound

December 1: start stims (bravelle 225) and menopur (75) and continue with lupron

December 4: blood work

December 6-10th blood work and ultrasounds every other day

week of December 10th: egg retrival

week of December 10th: egg transfer



Hiking

Hi everyone,
 Life has been great lately. I am blessed. Today I recieved an amazing text from my bestie Donna. She asked as always if I was having a good day and of course I said yes and she has asked me to go hiking with her. Donna is an amazing, beautiful person and is multi-talented. and a Godly woman. I know while my babe and I are in LR next Tuesday that Donna will be praying for us. She has made LR trips with me and would do so at the drop of a hat. Donna and her awesome hubby Randy have invited us over for Thanksgiving dinner since our family will be out of town. This will be a great weekend and since deer season opens on Saturday I get to sleep in while my babe hunt's on his parent's property. I am blessed and can't wait to meet with our IVF nurse on Tuesday. I have everything done so far for our IVF cycle now I just can't wait to get this show on the road.

Great weekend away with my babe

It was a great weekend to get away from this place. Yesteday my babe woke me up and had a surprise planned for the day. We ate breakfast and then got ready and then we were off. My babe had been looking at car's and we drove all the way to Alton, IL 6 hours and went to find his dream car which is a camero. Once we got to the gentleman's house we took it for a test drive unfortunately the starter died in it and so we came home empty handed. It was great to get away from everything for the day. Since I was on call for work today. I only take call weekend one weekend a month and this happened to be my call weekend. It was nice to be able to attend church this morning and my phone didn't go off and then I enjoyed a nice lunch with my best friend and her awesome hubby. My DH headed to my in law's place and visited with them. After lunch I came home and deep cleaned the fridge and cleaned out one of the shelves for all my fertility meds which should be here in about a week or so. I am so excited to get this party started. This week is going to be a crazy one with lots of client's to see and then a fun day with my bestie Donna. We are going to a play and then dinner. We also might try and squeeze in a hike on one of my day's off.
